Yes! All our tours are fully customizable. You can adjust the itinerary, add or remove attractions, change the duration, and include special requests like dietary requirements or accessibility needs. Just let us know your preferences when booking.

We recommend booking at least 3-5 days in advance for day tours, and 1-2 weeks for multi-day tours. However, we can often accommodate last-minute bookings — contact us and we will do our best to arrange your tour.

Cancellations made 7+ days before the tour receive a full refund minus a small processing fee. 3-6 days: 50% refund. Less than 3 days: no refund. For medical emergencies or special circumstances, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate.

We accept WeChat Pay, Alipay, bank transfer, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). For international travelers, we also accept PayPal. Payment can be made in Chinese Yuan (CNY) or US Dollars (USD).

For most day tours, no deposit is required — you can pay on the day of the tour. For multi-day tours or large groups, we may request a 20-30% deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due before or on the tour date.

Most foreign visitors need a Chinese tourist visa (L visa) to enter China. Some nationalities can enjoy 72-hour or 144-hour visa-free transit if transiting through Beijing. We recommend checking with your local Chinese embassy or consulate for the latest visa requirements.

Yes! We can provide an official invitation letter to support your Chinese visa application once your tour is confirmed. Please request this when booking and provide your passport details.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip. This should cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation. Beijing Wonder Tours is not liable for uninsured losses.

All tours are private with English-speaking guides.

Yes! All our guides are licensed, fluent English speakers with deep knowledge of Beijing history and culture. We also have guides who speak Spanish, French, German, and Japanese upon request (subject to availability).

Our tour prices typically include: private English-speaking guide, private air-conditioned vehicle with driver, all entrance fees to listed attractions, hotel pickup and drop-off (within Beijing city center), and bottled water. Meals are included if specified in the itinerary. Tips/gratuities are not included.

Tours vary in physical demands. Day tours involve moderate walking (3-5 km). Great Wall hikes range from easy (cable car up, walk along restored sections) to challenging (steep unrestored sections like Jiankou). We can adjust the difficulty to match your fitness level.

We use modern, air-conditioned vehicles with professional drivers. For 1-3 people: sedan or SUV. For 4-6 people: minivan. For larger groups: minibus or coach. All vehicles are non-smoking, well-maintained, and insured.

Yes! We offer airport pickup and drop-off services. This is especially convenient for layover tours — we will meet you at the airport, take you to the Great Wall or city attractions, and return you in time for your connecting flight.

Yes, we provide free pickup and drop-off from most hotels within Beijing city center (within the 4th Ring Road). If you stay outside this area, a small surcharge may apply. We will confirm your pickup time and location the day before your tour.

We recommend: comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen and hat (summer), warm layers (winter), camera, passport (required for some attractions like the Forbidden City), and some cash for snacks or souvenirs. Your guide will provide bottled water.

Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) offer the most pleasant weather with mild temperatures and clear skies. Summer (June-August) can be hot and humid but is the peak tourist season. Winter (November-March) is cold but offers fewer crowds and beautiful snow scenes at the Great Wall.

Beijing is one of the safest major cities in the world for tourists. Violent crime is extremely rare. As with any travel, we recommend being aware of your surroundings and keeping valuables secure. Our guides will always look after your safety throughout the tour.
