The Beijing Subway is a rapid transit rail network that serves the urban and suburban districts of Beijing. Presently, there are 29 subway lines in operation. By paying the ticket price ranges from CNY3-10, you can transfer among almost all subway lines regardless of the distance. The Capital Airport Line costs CNY25. The Daxing Airport Line costs between CNY10 and CNY50.

Beijing Subway Line 1

Beijing Subway Line 1 operates between Gucheng Station and Universal Resort Station, with a total of 36 stations. The train cars are red. You can transfer to Line 10, Line 9, Line 16, Line 2, Line 19, Line 8, Line 5, Line 2, Line 10, Line 14, and Line 4 at the transfer stations on Line 1.

The train running between Sihui Station and Universal Resort Station is called the Batong Line. You can transfer to Line 1 and Line 7 at the interchange stations on the Batong Line.

Beijing Subway Line 2

Beijing Subway Line 2 has 18 stations, divided into the outer loop and the inner loop. The outer loop starts and ends at Xizhimen Station, while the inner loop starts and ends at Jishuitan Station. The train cars are blue. You can transfer to Line 4, Line 13, Line 6, Line 1, Line 16, Line 4, Line 8, Line 5, Line 1, Line 6,  Line3, Line 13, Line 5, Line 8, Line 19, Line 4, and Line 13 at the transfer stations on Line 2.

Beijing Subway Line 3

Beijing Subway Line 3 operates between Dongsishitiao Station and Dongbabei Station, with a total of 10 stations. The train cars are rose red. You can transfer to Line 2, Line 17, Line 10, Line 14, and Line 12 at the transfer stations on Line 3.

Beijing Subway Line 4

Beijing Subway Line 4 has 35 stations and operates between Tiangongyuan Station and Anheqiao North Station. The train cars are teal. You can transfer to Line 19, Line 10, Line 14, Line 7, Line 2, Line 1, Line 6, Line 19, Line 2, Line 13, Line 9, Line 16, Line 12, Line 10, and Line 16 at the transfer stations on Line 4.

The train running between Tiangongyuan Station and Xingong Station is called the Daxing Line. You can transfer to Line 19 at the interchange stations on the Daxing Line.

Beijing Subway Line 5 has 23 stations and operates between Songjiazhuang Station and Tiantongyuan North Station. The train cars are purple. Beijing Subway Line 6 operates between Jinanqiao Station and Lucheng Station, with a total of 35 stations. The train cars are earth yellow.
