Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 8:00am, and then drive about 1.5 hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall.

Badaling is the most iconic and best-preserved section near Beijing, and one of the most representative parts of the Great Wall. It has been listed as an important national cultural relic under state protection since 1961.

You will have plenty of time to enjoy sightseeing on the wall and admire the beautiful mountain scenery. If you would like to reach the higher points more easily, the optional cable car is a convenient choice (at your own expense).

Before lunch, travelers will have about 45 minutes for a short stop at a Jade Carving Factory, where you can learn about this traditional Chinese craftsmanship. Jade carving is a famous local art in China, combining excellent skills with deep cultural meaning.

After a traditional Chinese lunch, transfer back to Beijing city and visit the stunning Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China.

The Summer Palace was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998 and is considered a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. Its natural hills and open lakes blend perfectly with elegant pavilions, temples, bridges, and palaces, creating a peaceful and harmonious scenery.
