This hiking tour is one of the most adventurous and rewarding Great Wall experiences in Beijing. You will hike about 5 km along the ancient wall, passing around 15 watchtowers, with breathtaking mountain views and endless photo opportunities.

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing around 8:00am. After a comfortable drive, you will arrive at Jinshanling Great Wall at about 10:30am.

Jinshanling is considered one of the most beautiful and authentic sections of the Great Wall. Here you will see a mix of wild, ruined, original, and partially restored areas, making it a paradise for hikers and photographers. The hike usually takes about 3 hours along the wall.

Please note: due to the temporary closure of Simatai East Section, we will get off the wall at Kylin Tower and cannot continue further toward Simatai East.

This route is quite physically demanding and can be a real challenge, but it is also one of the most unforgettable Great Wall hikes. After the hike, it is a perfect time to relax and enjoy a traditional Chinese tea ceremony experience, where you can rest your legs and taste tea for free in a peaceful atmosphere.

Afterwards, enjoy a late afternoon lunch at a local restaurant. Then your driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Beijing comfortably.
